Our
Story

Humble Beginnings
We were founded in 1992 by Rosas Mitchell to provide support to people living with dementia and their unpaid carers. We started with a single drop in centre in Stirling allowing unpaid carers to leave their loved ones safely cared for and enjoy some respite time to do what was important to them (hence the name Town Break). From there we have grown to offer dementia specific support services across Forth Valley.
Our Services
We offer a range of services at Town Break. Click Here for more details.
These are informal drop in groups to socialise, build friendships and meet new people.
Our friendship groups are full of fun, laughter and often live music. We love singing along to songs old and new.
This service will provide a safe place for people living with dementia to meet and allow unpaid carers some respite time.
Volunteering
Town Break is a charity focused on reshaping the way we think about Dementia. We are always looking to connect with people in the local community to join our team in spreading hope and support for those living with Dementia.
If you are passionate and believe in this cause and have some free time to spare each week, join us in our campaign and lend a helping hand to those living with Dementia and their unpaid carers.
